On June 4th we have a very special show at Wharf Room Comedy. We’re hosting a benefit to raise money for a documentary about one of the Bay area’s rising stars of comedy.

Before the podcast recording yesterday I found out that Mike DeStefano most notably from Last Comic Standing passed away from a heart attack. I’m sure you know Mike was bigger in the comedy world than Last Comic Standing gave him credit for. He was a true inspiration for me. After I found out about his passing I decided to spend my show talking about him and a few free speech issues that he often talked about. It pretty much goes like this; shut up, sit down, close your bible and enjoy the fucking show.

In light of Mike overcoming his heroin addiction I invited my son, Stefan to come on and talk about a few things. Stefan is currently infatuated with a new girl so we talked a little about new love, his struggle with his own heroin addiction and how he looks at life after overcoming impossible odds.

Since Dr. B has been on the road I’ve started making little videos for him. Last night I made one of Luna and though it would be cute if I mentioned Dr. B’s name. After this video I got nothing but dirty looks from her all night long. Of course, only after she spent 30 minutes at the front door waiting for him. When she finally walked back over to the couch looked at me with a look that says, “You OWE ME LADY and payment is only acceptable in steak.”
