I’ve been promoting and producing comedy full-time for about a month. I’m happy to report that a lot of my allergic symptoms have improved. As long as I don’t eat nuts I have no puffy face. As long as I sleep 10 hours a day, I have no puffy face. As long as I rest regularly, relax often and take very very good care of myself; I feel pretty damn good.
Of course I work pretty long hours because my computer is sitting here staring at me most of the time. I write jokes as I sleep if I’ve worked to hard or not rested enough during the day. Now this interrupts my sleep in only one way; I wake up to write them down. But Brian, he dreams of telling jokes from the top of Mt Hood and then wakes himself up laughing. I wish he would wake himself up snoring THEN I would feel better. I’m going to take an ear plug tangent right now. However, the flexible silicon ear plugs that are pliable are the BEST.
You can find out more about my shows at www.wharfroomcomedy.com. Maybe just maybe, I’ll get Dr. B to update his website too!!
This week we had an interesting group of comedians. Tuesday felt like a circus audition at times and at others it just felt right. Unfortunately for me; I had two audiences in a row just hate me. I hear that happens from time to time. One highlight is that the beautiful and talented Laurie Kilmartin stopped in on Tuesday and took some time to talk with me about comedy, dinner rolls and, motherhood. This is also posted at Pop Rock Candy Mountain – go ahead check ‘em out.
