Road Side Assistance
This is what running out of gas on the Oakland side of the Bay Bridge looks like.
5 minutes previous to this moment this conversation occurred.
“you need to stop for gas, the light is on.”
“yeah, do you think we’ll make it accross the bridge? Gas is cheaper over there.”
“I don’t think so, was that a gas station? You should stop there.”
“Wow, really – we’re out of gas. maybe if I punch it we can make it to the off-ramp?”
“The parking lot on the east side of the toll booth is safer?”
“Do we have road side assistance?”
“Wow, your cell phone plan roadside assistance works?”
This is what $2.99 month road side assistance looks like. This is $2.99 road side assistance provided by the cell phone company that I just bought an iPhone from.
The sales guy asks as he set up my new phone…..”do you USE road side assistance?”
Then I showed him these pictures and told him what happened to the last guy that questioned my judgement.
